Aimee Minarich, Owner/Artistic Director
Biography
Pizzazz Dance Center is owned and operated by Aimee Minarich who has been
dancing for 25+ years and has been teaching dance for approximately 15 years.
Aimee is an alumnus of Rowan University where she studied business and dance
and earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Aimee has danced with and was an instructor with Ballet South of NJ and is a
member of the International Teachers of Dance. Aimee has taken class with such
greats as; Al Glilbert, Raymond Luken, Dolly Kelepez, Sean Doyle and many more.
Aimee continues her education through various conventions and workshops. Aimee
feels her passion for dance is reflected through her students and their many
accomplishments.
Rochelle Bermudez, Instructor
Biography
Rochelle Bermudez was born and raised in South Jersey. She began dancing at the age
of five and started teaching at seventeen. She has been employed at Pizzazz Dance Center
since 2000 where she has taught ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip-hop.
Having an Associates degree in Fine and Performing Arts from Cumberland County College
and studied dance at The University of Arts in Philadelphia, she continues her study
of dance through workshops and conventions. She is currently enrolled in Nutrition
Science classes with a minor in Exercise Science at Camden County College. Rochelle
has 20+ years experience working with children in an educational setting.
Kimberly Stewart, Instructor
Biography
Kimberly Stewart is a native of Newfield New Jersey. She has been employed at
Pizzazz Dance Center for three years where she teaches ages seven through adult.
She teaches ballet, lyrical, tap, Irish step, musical theater, and hip-hop, with
tap and Irish step being her specialty. She attends teacher workshops to further
her dance education and bring new techniques to the dance center.
Joy Minsky, Instructor
Biography
Joy Minsky has been a part of the Pizzazz Dance Center Family for the past eleven
years. Joy has been trained in Ballet, Hip-hop, Irish Step, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe
and Tap at PDC. Currently she is majoring in Elementary Education at Cumberland
County College. Joy credits a lot in her life to her dance experience, but she
especially credits her self-discipline, organizational skills and her healthy
active lifestyle.
Bianca Lynn Rivera, Instructor
Biography
Bianca is a New York City born and trained dancer. She has competed and performed
all throughout the NYC tristate area and along the east coast. In 2002, she relocated
to South Jersey where she attended Schalick High School and was a member of the
Drama Academy. After completing high school, she continued her education in theater.
Recently, she received a year-long contract performing as a dancer and character
performer at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. In the past, she has had the
opportunity to work with Tyce Diorio and Debbie Allen. Currently, Bianca is back in
school working towards a BFA in Musical Theater. Bianca specializes in Musical Theater,
Jazz, Hip-Hop and Contemporary dance.
Alissa Chikeles, Instructor
Biography
Alissa Chikeles was born and raised in New York. She began dancing at age three and
has always had a true passion for dancing and performing. Alissa attended
Manhattanville College where she studied Dance and Theater. She has choreographed
and taught throughout Northern New Jersey and New York City. Alissa has completed
two contracts for Princess Cruiselines and PGT Entertainment. Alissa specializes
in Musical Theatre, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip hop.
